As we head into E3, EA/Dice has released a new trailer and new information about Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I have to say I'm getting really excited for this one, Don't let me down EA/Dice!
Gamespot has published a
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Hands-On article. EA/Dice had a press day (EA3) a while back so expect more articles as soon as the embargo lifts.
Here are some of the highlights.
- four-wheel ATVs --Oh Yeah 2 seaters none the less
- regenerative health --but very slow
- player revives --love my shock paddles
- new game mode --not disclosed yet
- dedicated melee button
- Fully destructible buildings, although its unclear if every building is destructible.
- Release date Q1 2010
A new class system with four instead of five classes
- Assault
- Engineer
- Recon
- Medic

A new Trailer for E3 has also been released. I think they did a great job. It plays like a movie... Well until they Defib a teammate and he takes off running.

All in all I have to say it's looking a lot more appealing than I first imagined. *Fingers crossed*
The graphics look great! they say the video was made with frostbite engine. I'm going to go totally out there and make a guess and say the video is somewhat render assisted but actual game play is close.
