| Well now that Bethesda has the liscence to the game... anything can happen. I have no idea what they plan on doing with the franchise, but my only hope is that they dont let it die and make it something that keeps going, just like the Elder Scrolls series...
For now... lets just rejoice in the fact that they didnt let the series die, as we had all thought. I am glad that they saw the potential in the series and snatched it up...
It could have been pretty bad had some bad developer picked it up... they might have murderded the series with one horrible title.

| | | fallout is awesome, hopefully they dont screw it up. for example, Lands of Lore 2 was an awesome game the sequel Lands of Lore 3 sux. Might as well called it something else. |

| | | The legendary producer of Black Isle, Feargus Urquhart, is now working for Obsidian Entertainment (his own company) and not working on Fallout 3. And you know, all good stuff in those games depends on people who make it. I wouldn't expect Fallout 3 to be anything near the level of quality of Fallout 1 and 2.

- HOMM4
- Thief 3
- Tribes : V (no gripe about the game, still a good game, just not for me)
- Doom3 (Its almost 2 entirely different genres between doom2 and 3... But I played Doom2 for hundreds of hours, I played Doom3 till alpha labs 3.. and as I was in a vent I went "Why the hell am I playing this pointless game" and deleted it

Im pretty certain Fallout 3 will be a dud, but I prefer ignoring that thought and focusing on the other part that says "Yay fallout 3 is coming out !" ... You know .... ..... The inner child ? (god mine has been beaten to a pulp with the years)

Morrowind was an absolutely great game and is one of the best RPGs out there. Oblivion seems to be more of the same x10!
However, it is true that Fallout 3 is going to be a totaly different game than Fallout2.

| | | Bethesda is cool, but did anyone notice the incredibly stale diolouge in morrowind? the selling point of the fallout series is the diolouge, and i fear that bethesda might not be able to pull the feel off.
