| | | Hell yes. The trailers are absolutely fantastic. Physics engine rocks. The return of the first person shooter with a compelling story behind it!
Don't get me wrong, Doom3 is a blast. But, it will feel good to step back into Gordon's boots again.

| | | I have it reserved. And its a required game for life. Its as important as Metroid Prime 2 is for me and The new Legend Of Zelda game. I loved Zelda windbreaker. Great animation. |

| | | I will definately purchase it. Hopefully the game isn't a disappointment like Doom3, it certainly has the potential to be as revolutionary as Half Life was. |

| | | Doom3 is great eye candy. It does a great job of submersing the player in a scary-ambienced environment. But, there's really not a whole helluva lot of plot. Not that there's much plot in any FPS-genre games. But, the original HL managed to combine a great FPS with an engaging plot that really drove the action of the game. It would be great to see that again in the sequel.

| | | I skipped Doom since it looks like the same old repetitive thing with new graphics (and partly because I still need a new system), but I'll definitely pick up HL2. The original was one of the few FPS that held my attention long enough to play the single-player all the way through. I get bored with SP on most other FPS games and mostly play multiplayer. And of course, all the mods will be great. |
