The unique AI think and act independently, changing tactics on the fly. No scripts. No pre defined pathways. ArmA 2's AI share information, communicating with each other to hunt players down. | | | I've been playing the German version with an english patch for a few days now. The game definitely has some bugs, but it's really really fun. It runs amazing on my laptop for how well the graphics look. AA3 with shittier graphics runs much worse.
It reminds me so much of Operation Flashpoint, back in the day we had tons of fun with the editor and playing at lans. This seems very nostalgic of it.

| | | These are the same guys who made the original OFP 'game'; Whereas the next OFP is going to be made by the developer of the original OFP game's engine.
We shall see which is better... though the graphics on OFP2 are fricken sweet, but gameplay is what wins in the long run.

With ARMA II, though, I can't seem to get anything higher than ~35 FPS.
ARMA II looks amazing, though.

| | | I downloaded it yesterday. I really like it allot. although the controls can get confusing while under a firefight, the game play seems to work well. You can even build your own base in a top down view.

| | Yeah, this is a great game. It's like a large-scale BF2.

| | | Kage, check out the demo.
The game definitely has its share of bugs, but they're a lot less severe than the bugs in AA3, and the gameplay is great.
