Killzone 2 delayed to late 2008?

Another PS3 rumor that is very troubling is that Killzone 2 may be delayed until late 2008. This according to Matt Levitan, PR and Marketing Manager for Sony Computer Entertainment Canada at the PlayStation Holiday Preview Event.

In the meantime, Levitan reports that Sony has much improved its internal development, and is relying on first-party titles to carry the console this holiday season. Ratchet and Clank are back at it again at the end of the month, followed by the tropical action adventure Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune in mid-November. The huge first-party shooter Killzone 2 is set for release late next year.

Granted, he is PR of Canada, not the US.. but who knows how accurate this is coming from a company who is constantly changing dates and announcements.

This game ought to be good after all the problems its caused for Sony, from the infamous CGI video... to being delayed till late 2008.

My guess it'll be like every other impressive looking game that is delayed, a absolute dud (heck even Halo 2, delayed and all sucked to a certain extent.)
