| Now that this is out of the way. The article I'm going to link to is excellent. Normally, posting this stuff would just seem like another bad thing against video games. However, this article goes into detail on why it shouldn't be as big of a headline as it is.
It goes on to say that in 2006, there were 406 murders, and in 2007, there were 392 murders, all in Philly. Out of all of these murders, only one has to do with a connection to video games. Yet this one murder makes all of the headlines.
I love the people behind articles that do their research. Whenever I am about to pick a fight or start an argument, I always make sure I have done the necessary research so I have something to back up my claims with. I give major props to this article.

I agree with Dopey though, it is a very well written article. I'm gunna have to pass this one around the office even though I'm the only one here that plays video games. It makes a good read and provides some awareness to those who don't open their eyes. Great find. |
