Can gaming save television?

Although it's more of a completely connected idea, from Internet to TV to Games, it's an interesting and valid take on how to bring people back to TV from gaming and Internet interests.

I don't think TV ratings will ever be what they used to be - there's just too many other things out there. But it's definitely a way to get people interested.

think of it...TV shows built into our games. when you die in CSS, you hit Alt+f9 and a window pops up with media controls that lets you start/stop/pause your favorite shows.

who's with me?!

It's a matter of interest. If, for instance, you're playing a mamoorpig, and you can get a secret sword or some crap if you watch a certain TV show for clues, you're going to do it.

Then you tie in a website for a complete multimedia cycle. Get people interested, entertained, and intrigued.

coffee, I am stealing your idea to make millions :P

but seriously, tv ratings are down for far too many reasons. I think one of them is all the crap they put out there.

Same thing with movies, they just plain suck!
