New Bond game on COD4 engine

Quantum of Solace, currently in development at Treyarch, is running on the Call of Duty 4 game engine and due out this Fall alongside the movie.

COD4

Goldeneye

(okay, so it's not fair to compare to Goldeneye)

Could this be the first decent Game-Based-On-Movie to be released? Is there a decent GBOM before this? Spidey?

You know, besides The Hulk...

True that, CoD4 kicks ass and Goldeneye was a sick ass game.

BTW, was chronicles of riddick really that good? I didn't get far into it after escaping.

Goldeneye, ofc, the best movie-based game of all time, and still one of the greatest FPSes (topped only by CS and the original Perfect Dark, IMO).

Spider-Man 2 was quite good, although Ultimate Spider-Man (which was not based on the movies) was where they really got it right.

Aside from that, I really can't think of any great movie-based games... Which is sad, seeing the sheer number of them we've received over the years.

A CoD4 based 007 game has real potential to be great. A PC release and a solid multiplayer component and we could have a game finally worthy of succeeding Goldeneye.
