I'm sure gamers everywhere are at the edge of their chairs and on cloud nine with this news. Quote:
Judge Dava Tunis recommended a permanent disbarment for Jack Thompson with no opportunity to apply for reinstatement, according to a mass email sent out by Thompson this afternoon.
"Your Referee down here, Dava Tunis, the one who does not have a federally-mandated loyalty oath even to be on the bench, just today issued her final Referee’s Report in the above matter, and she rejected The Bar’s recommendation of a ten-year disbarment for me and instead is asking you to disbar me permanently with no opportunity ever to apply for reinstatement."

WOW, the judge rejected the 10-year disbarment, and instead replaced it with a permanent disbarment. I wonder if that has something to do with him calling the Judge a "Raving Wild Woman" Thompson: Judge Recommends Permanent Disbarment

| | | You know, the letter he wrote to the judge was actually pretty good. He made me realize just how bad and corrupted the justice system is. A lot of the judges and other people involved are not qualified, do not have licenses, have not taken mandatory oaths, and other things. I still think Jack Thompson should get his disbarment, but I think something needs to be done about all of those judges, too.
If anyone hasn't read that letter he wrote to the judge yet, go do so. It's pretty lengthy, but once you read it, you'll be in disgust just how the justice system is in Florida (and potentially other places).
