Well, we know about an upcoming Street Fighter movie, we know about an upcoming
Prince of Persia movie, a
Max Payne movie and we are hearing about a fourth Resident Evil movie… what’s next? Well Capcom has yet again jumped on the Hollywood bandwagon and is entertaining the idea of a
Lost Planet film.
So far the only news we have on the idea is it will be produced by Seaside Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros and the screenplay will be written by non other than the voice actor David Hayter (the voice of Solid Snake). Hayter does have some writing experience as he was involved in the first two X-Men films and the upcoming DC Comics movie, Watchmen.
It will be very interesting to see how this film plans out…I’m hoping it will come together better than the game. :-\ Source:
