CEO Hector Ruiz leaves AMD

Hector Ruiz is stepping down as AMD's CEO.

Yes, this is good news. He is still on the board, however, but maybe the day-to-day decisions will get better.

and, oh I don't know, real timelines, and meeting those timelines.

Interesting. Many have been calling for this guy's head for a while now. I wonder if they'll go out-of-industry for a glamour hire, or someone who knows the biz.

OMG so true. If AMD gives up Intel will be screwing their customers 100 times more than they currently are right now. Just think about. The new Intel (place chip name here) is the most advance, fastest and power effiecient chip to date. These chips will be shipping out and will be available for only $4,999
