EA to build branded gaming PCs

EA is reportedly going to sell their own branded gaming rigs, evidently to avoid the confusion of "will it play Crysis" that seems to erupt around the internet.

Straight from Comic-Con comes the eyewitness report:

EA wants to sell you a PC | Remowned

Will it play Crysis: Warhead? It damn well better.

Personally, I welcome anyone to the party for PC Gaming - a package deal with Crysis/Warhead and a sweet rig might bring in some more gamers.

Of course, a TF2 system in a Sentry Case would be nice...

Apparently, the rigs will come in various configurations, which will correspond to Crysis Warhead’s levels of graphical detail, with a likely price range being $600-$800.

Err $600 machine would run Crysis?

Unless you mean on high... I made a machine for $240 and it runs the demo pretty well on medium (which still looks awesome)

Although you have to change them every 2 hours or the computer will shut down.

Wal-Mart doesn't stock and brand PC's as Crysis ready. Anyone who buys these is specifically looking for this product. How they're going to manage to sell them over Alienware and other gaming systems is beyond me.

Hell maybe since EA generates so much money from Wal-Mart they will stock them there.
