    Not enough sound?!?!?! Help!!!

The last couple days or so I've noticed a significant lack of output from my onboard sound...
Either that or I'm going deaf at the age of 20....

Anybody know of any programs or custom drivers that I can use to boost my output??

I use Razer Carcharias headphones and never had any problems w/ my last motherboard as far as output is concerned...
    I'm bad @ BC2 Lulz.

Check to see if anything is tuned down significantly, or even muted. When I used to have an external soundcard I'd do that by accident a lot.

Likely though, something related to the audio output is going bad.

You could also peruse the manufacturers forums (and other tech related forums) for similar issues

A simple full uninstall/reinstall might work too

check that you have the latest sound drivers for your sound car, the latest drivers for your mobo, as well as any you might need for the headphones.

Have you tried another pair of headphones (maybe the current ones are going bad)?

I have used other headphones, and my razers are the loudest of all the other pairs I have laying around.

I've always found that onboard audio tends to be quieter than a discrete sound card.

If all else fails, pump up the jams.
