    CPL World Tour Finals on MTV

    Today, the two Titans of the Painkiller community with clash once again in a battle for the CPL World Tour Championship, along with a nice $150,000 prize.

    The time has come...

    For the past eleven months, the best Painkiller players from around the World have competed at nine different World Tour stops. Today, the final two remain and they are none other than Netherlands Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager and United States Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. This match will be one of epic proportions with $50,000 on the line. Both finalists have already guaranteed themselves a hefty $100,000 USD. Fatal1ty will have a tough road to win as he will be coming from the Lower Bracket. This forces him to have to win four maps in order to win the Championship. He was sent to the Lower Bracket by Vo0 in the Upper Bracket Finals.

    The match is scheduled to kick off at 6:12pm EST with [url]MTV Overdrive starting their stream at 5:40pm EST.

    Should be fun to watch. Fat and vo0 are crazy good.

    I was pulling for wombat since I played against him before when he played for Dr.s in RtCW. 7th place and $17.5k ain't bad though.

    I caught the last half of the match... that was intense. Once Fatality pulled ahead of v00 and started controlling the map and the powerups, it was all over. $150,000 is awesome and $125,000 for 2nd isn't anything to cryover.

    Wow. Can't believe fat dominated like that, I thought it would be much closer. Great matches though, and MTV Overdrive was great, never had a problem with the stream.
    Also, this Saturday night they are Game to Fame recapping the World Tour.
