Developers need to watch more TV

IDK about any of you, but i am getting tired of seeing the same variety of guns in video games that are coming out for FPS. M4,M16,AK, same SMG over and over, same sniper rifles, same pistols, the last game i saw with a huge variety was Rainbow six, and even then they had nothing i had not heard of. So i guess what i am saying is there needs to be more content! Just take a look at future weapons on youtube for 10 minutes and you can find at least 5 guns that are unheard of in the gaming world.

is there anything out there that has just a crapload of old and new guns, or even made up weapons? I needs my fix

Yeah, certainly worth a rent. Having a blast playing MP and the SP campaign is good as well.

Looks like someone has been saving a post. But come on, we've seen some of those guns in games. They may be called something else, but we've seen a lot of those Bo. How hard would it be to actually include a large inventory of guns into a game? How much bigger would it make the game file(s)? Would it slow down the game (in terms of frame rate... obviously with more selection, it will take people longer to pick or get used to all the guns).

a few of those guns are in SOCOM 2, 3, Combined assault, and Confrontation, but I lol'ed at the AWSM, I wonder whether they came up with the acronym first and tried to find words that worked lol

I'm not into programming so I don't know if it'd slow down the game, but all those guns aren't used in games that I know of except for the SIG 552 which I forgot to add the 550, but anyways... I haven't seen all those in games. If you want choice then there it is, some people may enjoy picking through all the guns. Yes you may have seen these guns on TV and movies before but what do you want a HKFNSPringfieldSmithandWessonBarrett M20125864343A5-115 rifle in .45OMFG that doesn't exist?
