Totally disappointed with the newest patch from 7 Days to Die. I don't like the character skill development system. I find it way more cumbersome than being forced to find books and recipes out in the wasteland. And they took out a staple of my base defense, the wood log spike. Additionally, they capped zombie fall damage. Each fall will only take a max of 33% of their hp. And it has to be from a ridiculous height. So you can't even really depend on that anymore. I essentially have to cheese the game system to survive the 7 day horde. I can't Father Grigori the whole time I'm playing, I need to do other things.

Hopefully not game breaking? For whatever reason this just reminds me of the original Left 4 Dead. that was fun

Sigh. I tried Civ 6 free (I think it's free until tomorrow), and as I was afraid of, I like it. It has really mixed reviews, so I'm torn. It seems kind of dumbed down in the way that hearts of iron 4 is dumbed down from 3. But, at the same time, there are more perk trees than ever, and there's enough variations of the theme to make it somewhat interesting. On the whole, though, it feels like a big patch of Civ 5, and carries over a shit ton of similarities.

Started Assassin's Creed Origins gold edition today on PC, absolutely beautiful game and very fun so far. Will pick up Odyssey down the line for sure.

About 80% through the mass effect trilogy... again. Game has what I consider the best story and character development of anything I've played. Still much fun, even the 4th or 5th time through

Borderlands 3 will be an Epic exclusive for a year.

Oh well. I heard it's focus is online and the story is only 15 hours. Great job.

Also started to play a bit of Shadow Warrior 2 - so far it's been rather fun, and like the new original, rather colorful and pretty. Still getting the hang of it, and interesting as to how the game itself is a bit... different (with some RPG elements).
