Morning,

Yesterday evening was hell, we had two tornado touch-downs in the area. all was well again, then i woke up at about two and heard that there was 80 mph winds and a tornado warning for my area.

I never said it was easy. Set up a bell for the door and train yourself to fall asleep in an upright position and to wake at the bell. Start with just dozing and waking back up. Gradually, you can fall asleep and wake up instantly when you hear the trigger sound. I used to do this when I worked at Friendlys. I had my back to the office door and would have paperwork in front of me, resting my chin on my hand... I hear the creak of the door, I wake, turn around and ask what's up. Never got busted.
