Hehehe, for some reason I had the reputation of being a "Hard A$$" RA my second year - really wasn't my fault. I worked in Freshmen dorms my entire time as an RA (Though we called it CSA (community service advisor) as we didn't have "dorms" - more like really nice appartments). The weekend "before" school started a room RIGHT OUTSIDE MY ROOM decided to throw a party at 9pm, with the blinds/windows/doors OPEN with some 25 people inside. Lol. Most people who get caught doing crap in the dorms get caught because they're pratically waving a flag outside their room saying "Hey RA's! Hey campus police!! Here we are!!" lol!
As for face book, people started to create pages dedicated to campus parties while still being part of a school group, which other RA's, RLC's or somebody in administration are also a part of. Face Book is public domain and it's pratically like hanging up pictures of what you were doing on your outside door for all to see (in bright neon lights). A few thought it would be cool to hold up signs saying "F*** RA's!" while drinking AND smokeing pot (while they were on probation no less) and post the pictures on facebook. To say the least they didn't stay in the dorms much longer.
