| | | Bummer. But then again, I'm doing laundry, cleaning, loading the dishwasher... at least you're making money.

| | | Yeah, it's usually union drones who get all those extra pay perks for working on holidays. A buddy of mine has worked forever at a local TV station as a technician and gets 5 or 6 weeks vacation a year and on a day like today, if he worked a double, it would literally be at triple time.

| | | Until the 15th, newegg is having a combo deal with 2 things that have me contemplating the gpu I wanted. I was going to get the Asus P5Q Pro with a 8800gt. However, with this combo deal I could get the same motherboard I wanted, and a Asus HD4850 for 5 dollars cheaper.
I don't like how hot the 4000 series is running, but I can get better performance with it.
Any input?

| | | Finally sorted out all my AV connections. Thanks to the Westinghouse's connectivity, I now have the PC, the cable box, the PS3, and the old HD-DVD player all HDMI'd in. I'm not dumping my HD stuff so it might as well be in use. Besides it seems to upscale regular DVDs better than the PS3 anyway.

| | | NICE DC. any chance you can get a pic, IDK why, but I like seeing when everything is working and plugged in correctly. |

| | | I'm no ATI expert but I'd presume it would future proof you better than the 8-series nVidia.
