Finely got to watch that D&D video on surface I think that really just scratches the surface on surface. I cant wait to see what comes out if surface ever becomes mainstream.


Nvidia tech video. Even though this of course is pushing the new Nvidia cards I couldn't help but think about how amazing the things both ATI and Nvidia cards can do these days. It wasn't that many years ago they would use a render farm and overnight processing to do what these cards can do in real time.. awesome!!!

My neighbor wants to hook his laptop up to his tv as a monitor. His laptop only has VGA and USB ports, as well has a headphone (audio out?). I connected him with a monitor vga from the laptop to the tv, and then used audio cables that I plug in from my surround sound into my ipod (through the headphone jack).

Question: Is there a single cable, like VGA out from the laptop, to the tv that will carry audio? Or is VGA only video, and I need something from the audio as well?

HDMI will carry audio and video. Nothing else does it.

RockYou not using salt md5 or some other type password encryption is beyond stupid.

I have passwords for stuff that doesn't matter very much that would fall under the strong category. Some work related stuff is OMG good luck with that hope you have a supercomputer 20 Char mixed lower upper numbers and symbols.

I double and triple salt everything... I'll even use sha & md5 together.
