| | | Mouse Pad. I got spare cash and want to know what mouse pad ya'll use.
I'm considering either the Icemat or the Razer Exactmat.
So what should I get??

| | | I use an icemat. I bought mine back when there was only the original model (and not even a black original model available). The icemat has lasted all these years without any wear or tear. All it needs is a little Windex once a month or so and it's perfect. It's always flat, never warps, sticks to the desk very well and is really smooth.

| | | I use the exactMat. It is really nice and has two surfaces depending on if you play with high or low sensitivity, the speed side and the control side. On the speed side, my mouse just shoots across the surface. On the control side, it is still smooth movement, but there is a bit of resistance. I'd say the only down side to the exactMat is that I wish it were just a bit bigger, but it is overall the best mouse pad I've ever used. |

| | | I have an exact mat..for most mice it is amazing! I love the way the speed side feels. However, I can't use it with my G5 laser mouse. The mouse jumps and doesn't respond well on either surface the exact mat offers. So, I just use it here at work to replace the el cheapies they gave us. Exact mat is awesome though, just be careful of what mouse you're going to use with it.

| | Steelpad 5L. I don't have it yet, but I've heard that it is the best mouse surface out. It's $40, but well worth it I assume. I'm ordering it through newegg. I have an allsop high performance mousepad.. it glides when I move my deathadder fast.. but has resistance and sucks when moving slow.
The 5L has 5 layers and it's optimized for gaming... and it's huge. techPowerUp! Review :: SteelSeries SteelPad 5L :: Page 1 / 3 Newegg.com - SteelPad 5L 20030 Mouse Pad - Retail
sorry I killed you a couple of times in office earlier yesterday.. it was 3 on 1... I had to try my best... LOL
BTW I was playing as "Pur3 ch33tz" in case you were wondering.

I can put my mouse on one side and lightly push it and it will literally slide across on its own. And when you're trying to do some precise, slow movements, it's perfect.
