Duke's Game Review Poll -Aug07

Please Follow Directions!

The past couple of weeks have been crazy busy with work and Quakecon and life events and stuff, which is why you haven't seen many reviews up. Well the truth is I have literally 5 in the works/completed and it's just a matter of putting all the pieces together and screenshots. Its crazy how long setting up the SS takes, let alone writing and proof reading the reviews. Anyway, this month is crazy busy for new releases, and I think I have an idea on what you guys are gonna vote for and Im going to jump out THAT review ASAP. Like I did with the STALKER review... But you know the drill.

Please select your top 2. I normally pump out 1 or 2 a month and have a considerably big back log right now. But please vote on the top two games you would like to see me review.

In addition, I'd also like everyone to take the 7 games and rate them on a scale from 1-10, 1 being not interested and 10 being VERY F@@kin interested in a review.

Please be honest here AND please be honest in my reviews. If you don't like the review, tell me. If you think I suck, tell me. If you think i should go F@@k myself, tell me.

I encourage everyone to comment on my reviews, the more feedback the better, and to hang out in my Game Review Thread and let me know what you're interested in and what you want to see most, based on the games listed on the front page, or your own submission .

I am not really in to the Bioshock review. It has already been reviewed by the major publications and they say it is amazing. In a few days I will own it. It might however do some good for the people on the fence looking for a great game. What I would like to see, what I am on the fence for are:

Tiger Woods PGA 08 for PC
Stranglehold

I love Golf, but I would like to see the PC integration as they usually are not as good as console.

Stranglehold looks cool, as I know nothing about it.

i agree with rux about bioshock. i voted for warhawk because im interested to see how it does on the ps3. and a guy came into my work and told me he loved the darkness.

Yes, I was definitely going to say that. No need to waste all of Duke's literary talent on something that is already common knowledge.

Lost planet and Stranglehold (PS3)

I need to see if this game is any good for ps3 cuz i'm hurtin for some games until FIFA 08 comes out!

I think the point of having duke review games is to get the straferight/duke take on the games. EVERY game is being reviewed by one syndicate or another, and all these guys have to go on is the angle. Our angle is the Duke angle, hence a review of bioshock is an unvarnished necessity.
