    Graphic Arts Production Area

So I am new here and was wondering if you guys had a graphic arts section? I have a lot of experience in that area, hell I run a forum dedicated to it by my lonesome.

But yeah, I'd love to help out and maybe teach some people or something...

Well, I guess we do now.

Probably be good if a mod could move this thread here: Sports & Hobbies ?

Some of us here dabble with graphic arts, so I'm sure there will be interest.

    Damn it Tao....

I do like this. I'm a fan of graphic arts even though I'm terrible at it...

You can always be taught, it's not a skill you're born with, lol. Though some people are just naturally better at it.

Cool - be kinda neat to see what people are up to -- did some in college a LONG time ago (wanted to double-major in Art and Computer Science... but found that you can't double-major with a BA and a BS :P... and art supplies are freaking expensive for a poor college student lol) -- trying to (very very slowly) learn how to use Gimp...

Graphic arts, I muddle through... photo processing, I have a decent handle on. I'd love to learn some more.

Nice stuff Cygnus. A wee bit on the darker side of fantasy illustration (if I was looking at the right stuff), and you do it well. You might look up a guy named Shannon Maer in New York at www.balancegfx.com/. I think you two might have something in common. I think my favorite is "Liquid", though I wish that banner wasn't showing over the top of it so I could see the whole bit. I like the contrast and use of saturated color there, and the subject looks right through you. It's very engaging.

To make a game people can love, you have to love it first.
