    No, the HD555's are great, too. I made a review about those too, the review is a couple of threads down.

    which do u like better.

    The only think i don't like about the hd555's is the sound leaking, i can't play with the volume upp cause the folks will hear

    That technology is better though for gaming. I forget the actual specific reasons behind it, but it's documented in several places.

    If you don't like sound leaking, you wont like these, either.

    Audio-Technica makes every series of headphones with closed-ear technology too, though.

    Instead of the AD700's, you'd get the A700's.

    and to be honest, I love both my headphones... I don't want to say which are better, because I truly don't know.

    very nice review...I have a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50 (monitors), and I love them, but the ones posted above are probably a better fit for most people...if you're looking for a new set of headphones above $100, both Audio-Technica and Sennheisers make excellent choices...
