    ABC is garbage. I was speaking more of when you first get to the website and it starts playing a damn video.

    For those ditching cable:
    Streaming Sports around the world:
    1) ATDHE.Net - Watch Free Live Sports TV
    2) Watch Online tv sports news and entertainment for free at channelsurfing

    There is also another site that used to be a TV channel or something. I haven't been there in a while, but mojohd.com or whatever (I will go check now). They had custom programs and such. Some interesting business ones...

    It's HD, and 720p.

    When you go to watch an episode, it will open up the ABC Player.

    Click the play button. It asks you if you want SD or HD. Choose HD.

    For comparison, I took that upscaled 720p image, downscaled it to 480p, and then re-upscaled it to 1680x1050 to show the difference in loss of detail.

    This also won't take into account the artifacts that you'd see if it was originally encoded/compressed at 480p.

    well of course Denny... not many connections can handle that kind of bandwidth anyway so they'd be dumb to try streaming it.

    Yep...what I figured. So, whenever I see someone say streaming TV shows in HD, my Check Engine light goes on

    HD = 720p, 1080i, 1080p

    So it's still HD.

    Also, not only does it require more bandwidth, it requires a hefty processor to play back 1080p. Not many places are going to stream 1080p.
