yeah when i first launched the Boxee software I was kind surprised at all their streaming partners, Netflix, Revision3, Twit, Cnet, Mevio, justintv, streamtv, youtube, youporn, vudu, amazon, and on and on.

However using the software via an IR blaster remote [aka Windows Media Center remote] does take some getting used to I would really like the boxee remote with the QWERTY keyboard on the back/bottom instead of using a wireless keyboard/touchpad combo. Still my SFF PC didn't cost me anything and the Boxee Box is in the $200 price range.

Stopped into the Sony Style store at the Pentagon Mall today. Those iTVs are pretty nice looking. But after spending a few minutes messing around with them I got to thinking: isn't this mostly what i use a computer for?

You've got to watch a large amount of internet video to justify one of those full-blown TV solutions.

Or invest in an HDMI cable from your video card to your TV...

    Missed it

Right now I have a Linux small form factor PC hooked up to my 720p HDTV with Boxee software installed on top of Linux.
