(1) We of the
Jagged Legion welcome your interest in joining us and the
potential longstanding membership which may result from your application. For better or
worse, our past accomplishments, current effectiveness, and the legacy of our
founding members has often put us in the center of many a Pinnacle
maelstrom. Know that being a member of
Jagged Legion may put you in one, or
more, less than glamorous situations in game or, on the forums.
(2) If you are ever in an unfriendly situation you must remember that your actions are
reflective of
Jagged Legion. All members of
Jagged Legion and applicants are required to act by a
code of conduct. You will be gracious in defeat, and humble in victory.
You will respect the build choices of the Pinnacle heroes/villains you group
with in teams and during PvP. You will never publicly call out another
player. Handle disagreements in respectful private tells, if things get
nasty that is what /petition and chat logs are for. If you are publicly
called out be courteous and respectful in your response. If the Super Group
as a whole is called out we will meet, agree on the appropriate response,
and designate the responder.
When dealing with the public good hearted ribbing and light hearted smack
(trash) talk (of the non personal attack variety) are allowed and make for
an enjoyable game. Remember keyboard strokes cannot deliver tone or intent;
be mindful of what you type.
Example 1
Beef Cake slaughters Impadivus: “If you can't handle the Beef then don't take a bite.”
This could be considered as acceptable. However, always remember to be mindful of your words.
Example 2
Dyre Knight mops the floor with Impadivus: “Man claws sux you should take pool attacks!”
“You took jump kick!?!? WTF!!” “You f’ing noob! You skipped mez prot!?!?!”
This is not acceptable as we don’t attack Archetypes, powersets, or build
choices. Remember, when you interact with the public your actions are
reflective on all of us, so please conduct yourself accordingly.
(3) Please keep in mind that while playing City of Heroes and or City Of Villains, please respect the rights
of others and their rights to play and enjoy the game as you would. Again we thrive to have
a enjoyable time, so rather then being ill-mannered feel free to offer constructive suggestions.
To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten or cause distress and or unwanted attention
to other player.
(4) As a standing member of
Jagged Legion, you will be expected to use at least one of your costume slots for
an Official
Jagged Legion Uniform. The details of which will be passed on to you once you have been
accepted into the Legion. You will also be expected to do your part in aquiring Prestige Income for
the Legion's Bank, and Supergroup Base Upkeep. Our Base is one of our most prized accomplishments, and
all members are expected to aid in its maintenance through scheduled events or individual Prestige Income.
Also, as a member of
Jagged Legion, you will be expected to remain soley a member of the Legion.
It has always been a hard belief of ours that we accept Players, not Characters, into
Jagged Legion.
And you must always remember that being a Legionnaire is not it a right, it is a
privledge.
(5) When you are brought on Ventrilo you are advised to avoid discussions of
politics, religions, and culture.
Jagged Legion is a very diverse group of
individuals. We draw our strength from respecting the many differences
of our members. As you get to know the individual personalities on Vent you
will learn what different people find offensive and objectionable. Be
cautious of where you draw the lines of personal jest until you get to know
people. It is just a game, but real people and real feelings are involved.
So if our rules and standards are of your liking please feel free to apply.
If you are a smart, respectful person then you are
Jagged Legion potential.
Earnestly,
The current, reserve, and retired membership of
Jagged Legion
