    Hey all,

Just an FYI, we're back at it again and hosting LANapalooza 6 at the same location as before. 300 BYOC spots will be available for consumption from June 18th to 20th this summer at the Aurora Community Center.

Some minor differences, prepay entrance fee is $30, or it's $40 at the door (to get in), we've managed to reduce our operating costs some since the last major event so have passed the savings on to you!

    Tournament games (cash tournaments) include:

    CS 1.6
    CS Source
    TF 2
    Quake Live
    DotA
    COD:MW2

There are also some free-entry tournaments for hardware prizes, and a very amusing "Computer Smash" gungame tournament where the winners of a CSS gungame match gets first cracks at old servers with a sledge hammer. We've just posted the event a few days ago and are currently contacting prior sponsors and new ones to ensure there's a lot of good hardware prizes to be won.

Feel free to check out our website Zero PING Events Inc. - Toronto Area LAN Parties for details or just let me know if you have any questions.

    Quake Live
    More to come!

June 20th you say?? Why that's fathers day! It's a good thing a lot of dads like games too, this is why we would like to invite any dads who come with their sons/daughters to get into the event and play completely free! This LAN is father friendly!!
    WHO WANTS TO HELP??

If you arrive on Friday morning early you will be lucky enough to have the chance to help us setup! As payment you will recieve a reduced entrance fee of only $20, and as a bonus if you stay and help clean up at the end of the event, you will get that $20 back! WOW! We are also looking for event staff, server admins and referees. Please drop us a line if your interested in helping and to find out more.

    What will we eat?
As always we will have Pizzaville hot and ready throughout the entire tournament and the energy drinks will flow like water. Bawls, Rockstar, Monster, and Redbull are on the menu. We are looking into possible catering for the event and will post info as it becomes available.

    Where can we sleep?
Due to the large space we have available, a small tent would be the most private way to rest up and is completely acceptable. Most people just bring an air mattress and a sleeping bag, then sleep near or at (or under) their desk, which is just fine as well. If you leave with any hardware between the hours of 11pm to 8am you MUST check out with a staff member and your outgoing hardware will be logged. There will be an active camera and DVR system keeping watch over the entire event this year so keep in mind that any actions you take while at the event are being recorded.

Well that pretty much wraps it up for now, we will keep you posted as our event shapes up.
