I've been a Red Hat/Fedora guy for years... I started with RH 5.2 i believe, i should have the disk somewhere around here...

Anyways, I've tried just about all the major distro's and Fedora is as good as it gets if you ask me.

I do like an LFS from time to time though...

XP, but I have had SUSE and Ubuntu in the past.

did you really just ask if Bo has his cwp?

he shot his name into the application form from 1000 yards... while on a Segway... One handed with his USP in .45ACP... While doing pushups AND eating his sandwich...

    I've run
    SuSE
    RedHat
    Fedora (5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
    Ubuntu

Personally, I alternate back and forth between ubuntu and fedora. As for a shell, while KDE looks so much cooler than gnome, it's a real pain in the ass. Currently I'm running gnome on fedora 9, but if KDE 4.x ever pulls its head out of its ass, I might try switching to that again.

I can't stand Gnome. I haven't had any problems with KDE 4 surprisingly, it's better than 3.5. Gnome just pisses me off.

I've got KDE 4 on my laptop and OpenBox on everything else.
