Thinking about a 360...
hey guys ive been thinking of picking up a 360 cuz i really dont want to get a ps3 yet and all my roomies are planning on getting Wii's so we dont need a house full of them, i just had a few questions

wheres the cheapest place to get a 360?

whats the diff between a "core" system and a platinum package? besides 100 dollars?

Take from me...I just bought my first console since the Atari 2600. Get the Xbox Premium system. It has a built in hard drive which allows you to download content from XBox Live such as demos for just about every game available.

It also comes with a wireless controller (you DEF want all wireless...they're awesome!).

Trust me, I'm a hardcore PC guy...and I LOVE the 360.

you wont find any crazy deals on 360's 399.99 take it or leave it. There have been some bundle packages. I too was a hardcore pc'er but this thing just rocks and developers are just now starting to scratch the surface with content for it.

I stand corrected!:o :o I wonder whose paying for that rebate...... I was pretty sure MS said that they weren't budging from their price point.
