| hehe, that would be good stuff. I often thought about modding my regular xbox since I have the 360. I guess you can stick emulators on them and play old school nintendo / sega games, which would be kinda fun.
I was thinking yesterday how I want to set up my whole entertainment center. My tv has a vga input, which I was debating running into my laptop. I tend not to use the laptop much, so I was thinking about having that feed the TV movies from my desktop's bigger HD. The main problem with that is my only sound output is a headphone plug ... I'm not sure how good the sound quality would be if I bought a splitter and feed it into the receiver.
The 360 is already plugged into the receiver, so that's why I was thinking about using that to read movies from the PC's HD. I'll have to read more about MCE and the 360, and what all can be done with it. It's about time for the yearly wipe/reinstall to the ol' PC, so would be a good time to put MCE on it if it's worth it. |
