How do you add videos/music to 360 HD?

Is there a way to add movies and music without using the market place? Like using my computer/mp3 player to save files onto the hd?

i dont think you can Xfer them over...you can only stream from you PC to the XBox I believe

I have the same issue. I ran a hub that had the internet connection coming into it then going to my laptop and the xbox. Using the Windows Media Center program I could stream video and anything from my harddrive that's stored in media center but you can't transfer, I'm guessing without modding.

Doh 120gb of elite hard drive a bit of a waste then :/ whats your new gamertag Matt? BTW I am considering getting a zune to stream videos in that case, anyone have the 4/8 gb ones? or any opinions?

I'll look into this when I get my 360 back from a friend, but you can rip music off a CD easily. I haven't tried to hook the 30GB zune to it either, never thought of trying, but I'll let you know on that as well.

The game demos are what try to take the most space on the HD, I think there was only about 2GB free before I killed all of those. But, if you use the marketplace for downloading (or renting) movies or tv shows, I can see the 120GB filling up fairly quick.
