This has been beat into the ground enough, but I found this very interesting.
A latest poll over on EvilAvatar which is a forum filled with 360 fans and xbox fanatics have started a poll to see what percentage of the community has had a 360 fail on them. The current tally is up to
69% where 104 members have suffered a Red Ring of Death and had to have their console replaced and 47 of them have not.
I experienced my first Red Ring of Death last week while playing Mass Effect. It wouldn't boot three times and then when I came back to it later, it booted fine. Is this a sign of things to come? If you play you're 360 regularly is it inevitable?
On top of that, one member, who voted 'No' when prompted to, went to play his 360 that night, and wouldn't you know it,
his 360 died. So make that 105 members making it
70%
Ridiculous is one of many words to describe this.
