First X360 games only single thread? -thread

    http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_bl...ic_id=23889856

If programming even for Xbox 360 is so hard, how about the PS3 with its 7 (?) cores? Can we expect something like seven games in a year out for the PS3?

I don't even wanna think about the cost of development for the new consoles.

    Fujitsu-Siemens M3438G: PM 750 (1.86Ghz, UV'd to 0,700-1,036 VID), 17" WXGA+, GeForce Go 6800 (256 MB), 2*80 GB HDs (Fujitsu MHT2080BH, no RAID), 1 GB RAM (400 Mhz DDR2)

Yeah, I was kidding with the 7 games released, it was meant as an exaggeration to get someone reply here...

Killzone does look good, but isn't it a fact that the trailer was just pure CG?

nahhh... the opening was CG... but it morphed into a FPS real time.. im seriously believing that is what the game play is going to be like...

if you look closely at the deaths of some people.. as well as the people who are on fire... they are replicas, meaning they did not CGI the entire demo...

Sorry, Duke. It was all CG.

Because when the trailer was released, Sony hadn't yet given any of it's developers the alpha kits. They had nothing to create any game-play based footage. Axis Animation, the same Scottish computer animation company that made a cinematic for the first Killzone, had been working on the E3 demo for 3 months as straight-up CG.
