Bird Box on Netflix wasn't half bad. Some definite weak spots, but overall, it's pretty good. Mostly because Sandra Bullock.

Been hearing decent reviews about this one its been described to me as having a Quiet Place type vibe.

I saw Aquaman yesterday. Jason Momoa & Amber Heard try to do their best Nick & Nora Charles impression and fail. There is some decent tongue in cheek humor and the movie is better than a lot of the Marvel films. Plus wine icicle spears make a great makeshift weapon.

yup, will watch bird box sometime - found out that bird box was actually out well before Quiet Place - so kinda interesting.

Watched Venom - rather enjoyed it! Sure, some stupid stuff in there - but added some stuff (like a venom quote that I liked from when I was a kid) that really made it fun to watch. anyways, was a LOT better than I was expecting it to be - and I hear that folks were unhappy that they tried to make it funny. I remember Venom having a rather sarcastic type of humor and that's exactly what it was on the movie (which made some scenes pretty funny). Worth watching for sure

Though ordered it in UHD to check it out (cost the same, so why not) and then later found out during the credits that it wasn't playing in 4k... and that Amazons Prime app on the PS4 Pro doesn't allow for 4K HDR etc. ugh. not sure when that'll be supported but that's junk. SO even though it looked great and really haven't watched much 4K content I had no idea it wasn't 4k :P Didn't take the time to re-watch it heh - but that's fine

Had in my watchlist Soylent Green as it was on Prime - and when I had time to watch it... poof, was gone. ugh. I HATE that. sometimes i see notifications on Netflix when crap is going away, but so many times shows/movies were on Prime and not. And then there's shows that show up on Prime, but when you go to watch it.. it says that the show/movie is "unavailable". what the heck? ugh. Anyways. Good thing though - at least you don't have to pay more to watch UHD stuff on Prime (whereas you do on netflix).

Good to know Bird Box is worth a watch. Looking forward to Solo on Netflix Wed.

Have you seen it before? It got some hate. I'm not sure why.. it's very entertaining. Superfluous, as Mr. Crane said? Maybe. I am an expert only in my own opinions. Paul Bettany (J.A.R.V.I.S.) is in it because Ron Howard directed it and they are BFFs. My wife and I both enjoyed it. Not one I've watched over and over, though. Ragnarok does that duty.

I saw Escape Room over the weekend and I rather liked it, of course they set everything up for an expected sequel. It was a lot like Hostel but no torture porn.

Also saw a couple of old Airplane disaster flicks form the 1970's. Airport and Airport 1975 both are surprisingly good flicks.

For me, Solo was a big meh. Kinda like all the Disney Star Wars. Not bad, but not what I'd hoped for.
