what I have been looking for is a digitizer. I can't believe it took me this long to get the idea. Flowcharting is just simply retarded with a mouse. The only digitizers I can find for cheap though save the images as static files. It'd be cool if you could put them together and be able to draw larger than sheets of paper.

are we talking ERWIN-style stuff? but where you would chart whatever and have a scrollable viewer? Or are you talking actual images from whatever source?

Erwin is nice. the only version I've ever used was several years old and only for database structure.

that, and it was so clunky it was aggrativating. Great for reverse engineering databases for mining though, and it helped me in that area several times.

But yes, I downloade DIA the other day, which is pretty freakin cool. Complete sandbox for typing, moving things, and flowcharting (has many toolboxes). But I still have no nice digitizer tablet

I posted a reply but it timed out...

yes, like Erwin. freeform editor that expands itself in whatever direction you work (MSSQL Visual Editors do that, and also let you type comments where ever... pretty nice actually).

At the end of the day, I'll still need a nice cheap digitizer that works reliably. Can't decide which
