My problem is I only make stuff that's good on a cold winter day. Like my "IT BURNS!" Chili or my so thick it has to be eaten with a fork stew. However, I cook a mean steak (hope you like still mooing) complete with a salad and home fries.

My chili is like a bowl of flu symptoms.
Jalapeno peppers, cayenne pepper, habenero pepper, ground red pepper, and other things make for an interesting meal.

Better not be no goddamn beans in that Chili. Beans in Chili is for people who are too cheap to buy more meat. Beans are filler!

I use 2 pounds ground sirloin and 1 pound of Hot pork sausage in my Chili. Then I slow cook it in the crock pot for the better part of a day. Crock pots/double boilers are the ONLY way to make Chili.

I'm actually thinking of canning some of my own chili this winter. That'll make for an easy lunch.

I use 2 pounds of 85% hamburger and strain off ~most~ of the fat. I found a little left in enhances the flavor. Too lean hamburger has too little flavor.
Of course no beans. It's an obsolete tribute to the original mexican stuff, and it thickens the chili for people who are in too much of a hurry to cook it down. Properly cooked chili thickens on it's own.
I add 2 tbl spoons sugar to counter all the heat, and because I'm partial to the stuff, a jar of chunky salsa.
Here's one thing I do that a lot of people don't... 1 bottle of beer instead of water.

I use small strips of steak instead of hamburger. I do cheat and use Carroll Shelby’s mix as the base. When it’s done, I top it with some shredded cheese and a little sour cream .
