you've got a girl getting whipped for being raped, a teacher being whipped for allowing his students to name a fucking teddy bear "Muhammad" (one of the most common Muslim names in the world), and family members beheading others for wearing "Western-style pants".

We just have to do our own parts. There's already a backlash on the "happy holidays" crap. Over 75% of folk polled said they prefer to shop at stores that say "Merry Christmas". It takes everyday Americans to stand up and say "I won't compromise our culture in the name of political correctness". There's chunks floating in the Great American Melting Pot. They need to either melt or be thrown down the compactor.

If people don't see Hillary as a socialist they're stupid - though I know there are people out there that love the idea (knowing full well how everything will be paid for) - just hopefully they are all a small minority that are too busy doing... other things... to actually vote :P

As for the lashings - sheesh, 200 lashings is practically a death sentence. well.. it IS a death sentence. Remember, these are people that whip themselves with shards of glass and steel as part of a religious ceremony. Normally they stone people like her to death. not sure what's worse: being buried neck deep while people throw rocks the size of melons at your head, or having your flesh ripped from your body and dieing of shock or blood loss. I just hate it when people say that this is the extremeness that happens within that culture when it's really the norm. The people who 'dont' believe in it or wont do it are the minorities :P

--- and stupid stores and school and everything else where people complain about Merry Christmas - I remember a few jobs that I had where I was told to not say that to customers but "happy holidays" and that crap - I never did. never got any complaints either - just a "Merry Christmas!" right back at me!

It's a holiday! and really, i'm surprised that more don't complain about that either (as the word "holiday" comes from "holy day" - which is 'religious') - though I do see a lot of "seasons greetings" and crap like that :P

Nothing offends "people". It offends the 8 people that like to make noise about stupid shit. Then the media picks it up and makes a big deal out of it, as if 50% of people are offended. It's more like 3%. And those are professional offendees.

Denny's post was responding to mine, wondering why in the hell anyone would vote for Hillary, when it is obvious she will incur so many new taxes on us.

It's interesting how Bush has been blamed for fostering a state of Fear, using terrorism as a tool to push his agendas.

What isn't noted, is that Hillary (and others) are also pushing a state of Fear, using the uninsured and poor as tools to push their universal healthcare/taxation agendas.
