Wow.. there we go. The UN mismanages money all the freaking time and they want us to pay 40 billion to fix things the UN has been sitting on and doing nothing about (but being counter-productive) for years and years?

The US needs to pull out of the UN and have it's headquarters condemned. They're right here in our backyard mocking us.

I always love it when they talk about living off of little amounts of money (2$ or whatever) in third-world countries. People think, "wow! two bucks?! holy crap! I can only get two things on the dollar menu for that! MAN that sucks!" but they never tell you how much 2$ can go for in those countries - I stayed in Nepal for a month.. 2 bucks can go a long way (probably equivalent to spending that on one big meal at a pretty nice restaurant). - they don't even tell you 2 bucks is.. per person per day? per family per day.. week? year?

and what is the 80 billion going to do? give them all a few grand to..make life better for themselves? please. Half the crap that people have tried to do to help these people have been stopped by protesters/environmentalists/local governments etc. - what makes them think it'll work now? Lol.. oh wait.. it's going through the UN right? ah I see. looks like they might have a few skimming programs running, you now, catching all the fractions of a cent... or million dollar bundles that they use to pay for the workers on the small island they just bought to vacation on.
