When I got out of the car, emotionally I wanted to tear this joker up. But logically, I really only left my vehicle so I could get a real good look at his license plate. As fired up as I was, I still kept my wits about me.
An officer responded to the scene, took my statement and that of two other parties, and filed a report. About 45 minutes later, following a visit to the douchebag's house, he calls me up and says dickbreath admitted to wrongdoing and wanted the officer to forward his name and cell number to me, I guess to make amends.
Did I call him? Or did I let the officer go on to the county magistrate's office and get a warrant and subpeona?
My court date is some time in October.
As far as the money goes, the cost to replace the window is below my deductible so my insurance company flat out told me they didn't care. It's up to me to get my money back from this goober.
Right now I'm in the office while some glass shop goes to my house and replaces my window this afternoon.  |
