Oh yeah, I just got back from Ikea and Pier One...just walking around each place in a stupor. Like I knew I was there, but not WHY I was. Weird.

Now I actually care about shit like taxes and politics whereas before I was aware, but indifferent.

Congratulations!! First thing I learned when we bought our house--painting is NOT as fun as the people on Trading Spaces make it look.... :-\ But it's great to have your own place.
