| Movie Quote Game!!!!!
Alright guys (and girls?), I've seen this type of game played out extremely well on other forums which got me thinking, why couldn't we do it, too? I mean, in my humble opinion, this is the greatest forum, gaming community, thingy ever. So its time for the game.
Point of the game:
Get the most points by correctly naming the movie the quote was from.
The way it works:
1. I'll Put down a movie quote
2. The first person to correctly guess the movie its from, and the person who put the quote down in the first place confirms it, gets to start off the next quote.
3. The person who correctly guessed the quote first puts up a new quote and the first person to correctly guess that quote gets to go next.
4. Continue on for eternity.
5. ???
6. PROFIT!
The rules:
1. Try not to ruin the game by going to IMDB or some other site that has movies quotes if you get stumped. That's why its a competitive game. IMDB is to this game as steroids are to Baseball. So please stay away from those sites.
2. The quote has to be "exact". I put quotations around exact because if you add an extra word or two in there its fine, but if you add so much that it is incoherent, then my friend, you messed up.
3. Hints are allowed if no one guesses correctly within a day. A hint is another quote, year the movie was made, or the actors in it.
4. If no one guesses correctly within 3 days, the person who put up the Stumper quote gets to go again. But they MUST state what movie the past quote was from before the new quote.
5. No one movie can be used twice, in a row. Use a movie as much as you want, but please don't make a pattern of it.
6. The quote must be in ENGLISH. No exceptions.
7. No stand up Comedy movies, that would just make the game way to hard.
The rules listed above are subject to change, so check them often for new rules or changes. Also I'm open to suggestions for new rules, or anything else to make this game more fun.
