What StrafeRight Means To Me

I don't know why, but I recently wanted to write something about this place, perhaps some of y'all might like to as well.

StrafeRight is great for me. There have been many great times, and some bad, but mostly good. It fills my day. It provides me a knowledge of a great many things, gaming, news, internet...but mostly, it provides a social void.

Its always there for you whenever you need it, even if someone is just joshing around. Its always moving and growing, and yet, its able to retain this "awesomeness" at its core. I believe that's mostly from the same people that visit this place, whether it's everyday or just a few times a week. There is especially a certain joy when some members "reappear" out of the the cloud.

We all have our in differences, but I feel for the most part we can all get along. I guess that's one of the convinces of the internet, you don't have to talk to people in real life. Don't get me wrong, my real friends are great. However, straferight provides a different kind of feeling that I don't know how to express except when I tell my brother things from the site and see how he reacts.

So, basically straferight is really a home away from home. It's always (well usually) there and available to you. Good stuff, Great people. This doesn't really do justice to the thoughts that are in my head, but I think you guys understand what I'm getting at here.

i have never really been "sociable" but the friends that i have made in real life and online here at sR are some of the best people a person could ever hope to interact with!!!!!1111!

I agree. This is the best internet experience I can think of.

Hell i just enjoy this place because of its versatility. little restrictions on members, any game is accepted, personalization, availability to the members for private servers and team sponsors. Hell the ability to share so much with so many good people is the thing that makes it great.

Also love that its not so extremely popular, or populated with R-tards. I wish i could get more involved, but i find myself slowly getting more detached from my Comp.

To me, Straferight is just a bunch of dudes meeting up at the beach for one huge circle jerk, chock full of exposure to pumas, beer spills, and someone getting paid like a stripper.

I was really put off with the whole community/clan situation after my clan collapsed for mohaas. I didn't think i would have as much fun with a group of gamers again. then i came to the sR bf2 server and met y'all, then i finally joined when the bf2142 server was up.

You guys are tons of fun, and i don't regret the hours i waste away communicating with every one of you.

I regret it entirely, I just have nothing else to do. It's like straferight is my backup girlfriend, who I keep around when I have nothing else to do just so I have something to hit.
