Earlier today Henry McMaster, the Attorney General of South Carolina, wrote to Craigslist CEO Jim Buckmaster. The letter, copied below, starts with “I hope you will take immediate steps to end craigslist from being used to facilitate harmful activities in South Carolina.” It ends with a threat of “criminal investigation and prosecution” if ads for prostitution aren’t removed from the South Carolina parts of craigslist by this Friday.

Not like it took a genius to figure this out, but mylist (see what I did there?) is just about to get The Man up its ass big-time when it comes to their personal ads.
Look, everyone knows the craigslist's 'erotic' personals are essentially the world's biggest cat house. It was only a matter of time until someone with a desire to head up yet another moral crusade to save our children got involved.
Shitheads like the
craigslist killer weren't the only reason something like this was bound to happen. It's become a pop culture joke to talk about paying for a blowjob from some whore you met on craigslist. I recall Dr. Troy getting rolled by some hooker on Nip Tuck last season after he insulted her foul breath.
Anyway, say bye bye to your online whore stop. You'll still be able to buy/sell/trade things besides flesh, but the days of hitting the erotic ads in search of 'New to town and looking for some fun' posts are on their last unshaven legs.
