Capcom Countdown: Street Fighter 4!

Well the big announcement/countdown everyone was waiting wondering about is finally here. Capcom today said they are production of Street Fighter 4. They even have a trailer.

And that's not all. That wasn’t all they said was coming from Capcom in the near future.

Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice

Available early next year and will include all bonus characters from the PC version and extra downloadable content from the 360 version making it the complete package. Made possible with Blu-ray. 16 player online over the PSN.

Dark Void
A new sci-fi action-adventure IP. Trailer showed third-person and air-vehicle gameplay with a character wearing a steam punk jetpack, skydiving and landing in the cockpit of a gyroscopic aircraft, and then jumping and climbing through airbase fortesses.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD (Xbox Live Arcade)
The game will feature a spectator mode and is scheduled for a 2008 while the team try and get zero lag for the online mode. Also features stat tracking and widescreen. Original music from Street Fighter 2 will be used, plus remixed versions of all those tunes.

Wii Love Golf
From the Everybody's Golf team comes a cutesy golf sim, that looks slightly more technical than the PlayStation versions. Players can fade or draw the ball by twisting the Wii-mote when taking a swing.

A few cool sounding games in there except for Lost Planet for PS3 which was a major disappointment in my opinion after playing it on steam. Maybe they’ll add in some new features?

SF4?! Awesome!!! man... that's really cool - I wonder how they'd do it? I'm not sure if i'd like it being fully 3d or just super awesome side scrolling?

All of my college friends are gonna bust a nut, thats all they play all day long in the lounge. SF 3rd Strike, MVC2, SNK vs Capcom, etc...

I saw the video and announcement and first thought that crossed my head was that shoryuken must be having a nerdgasm of epic proportions.

Woot! Called it. Hopefully this game will be more like SF2 (or one of its variations) than SF3.

Personal favorite of the series... Street Fighter 2 Turbo or Street Fighter Alpha 2.

When I think of Street Fighter, I think back to when I was 9 years old in 1990. I remember frequenting the local roller skating rink and making (trying) myself famous in its arcade. There would be a line for Street Fighter II for people wanting to take on the current reigning champion. After that, I would spend all my precious money my parents gave me on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade game or The Terminator Arcade game with the two machine guns... then I would go chasing after girls, even though I kept telling myself that they were "icky".

Anyways .. Street Fighter II brings back fond memories of my first "social" gaming experience. I'll definitely be buying the new HD version for nostalgia. Looks awesome.

Edit : OMG! I just looked up that old skating rink in Anchorage, AK and found their website: Dimond Skateland. I haven't seen this place in nearly 17 years and it hasn't changed at all. Wow... God I wish I was 9 years old again... Sorry for the flashback but this really brings back good memories.
