Tekken Octave Engine Demo

Watch this short but sweet demonstration video of the new engine Tekken 6 uses. It is the first game to incorporate simulation engine that can dynamically simulate hydro dynamics on a game consoles, or in other words: simulate movement of water when you splash around in it.

that's cool and all, but seems useless in this type of gaming environment.

In a game like FarCry, or an immersive world, this would be welcome. I'd keep 'splashies' out of other games.

I think every game could benefit from advanced technology like this. I'm tired of having static water animations. This is next gen! I don't want next gen water!
