Two anticipated games for the PS3 were recently reviewed by 1Up. Jericho did surprisingly poor considering I enjoyed both the PC and PS3 demo. Here are some snips from this

I'm also perplexed by the absurdly long (and frequent) load times, given that the game looks like complete garbage. Every level feels like it was made with an FPS construction set: boring, ugly, bland, ugly, dark, and ugly. (Did I mention ugly?) And yet, you work through the stages in ridiculously short chunks, as though the system can't handle the massive amounts of blandness. It's mysterious....
Also worthy of note: the stupid, unforgiving, scripted button-tapping events (think God of War, only terrible). The only reason these do not throw me into a fit of vein-bursting rage is that you can retry them infinitely. Which you will, because you have about a tenth of a second to tap the buttons that flash on the screen before you die, and try again, and die, and try again, and die.

I will admit the demo did hint to the second complaint. I was not too sure why they only gave a very small amount of time to hit the buttons. You can read the rest of the review

The second game, Conan, got an average
5.5 review, however this one part of the review, leads me to believe the 1Up guys did not review the game at all.

Other problems you'll come across include poor character models, long loading times, oddly rigid environment interactions (you can jam on the B button to push over a tower, and even though that tower is an inch from hitting the ground, if an enemy pokes you from behind before the animation finishes, the tower will magically stand straight up again, defying gravity)

Since when does the PS3 have a B button? Did the 1Up guys just play the Xbox version and throw the PS3 version out the window? Or did they play the PS3 version and just copy and paste their review into the PS3 version? Who knows, but here's a screenshot in case they edit their review.
