GT 5 Prologue Details

Sony has just given us a ton of information about the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, and it looks like for many fans, it may be enough of a game to forget about the "full" version altogether. Prologue will include 60 vehicles, along with 14 additionally tuned cars, racing across six tracks, each with two layouts. The game will also feature split-screen racing in addition to the 16-player online races. The game will be released on April 17 for $39.99 on Blu-ray disc or via a direct download on the PlayStation Store.

This sounds pretty awesome. One of things I despise about Forza 2 are the limited camera views and no in-car view. Now I just need a PS3.

It's not the full GT5; It's more like a sample.

Sixty vehicles and six tracks are pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind shelling out $40 for that.

I've always preferred the GT series over anything else. It just seems that everyone else does the minimal they can to make it semi good while the GT series goes above and beyond and tries to make sure the player will be entertained for days to come. I still play GT4 when I get the time to.
