Spore Creature Creator!
It's alive!!!

In anticipation for the upcoming September release of Spore, Electronic Arts has enabled us to have a stab at creating our own species!

Go HERE to either download the free trial version, or pay $9.99 for the full creature creator, before the game is even released!

I've spent about 30 minutes messing around with just the trial version, and I'm really impressed with how much depth and creative freedom this game has to offer. Even with more than 2/3 of the items locked, I've still found myself creating some of the coolest creatures ever. It's like Monster Rancher on crack! Go check it out!!


Here's a sample...you guys know how much I love Metroid, so I decided to try and make one with the limited options in the Trial Version, and here's how it turned out!

absolutely no reason for this to be merged, it's a great post and deserves to be a news story on the frontpage...I was going to post it myself but didn't have time when I first saw it, and I think useful beat me to it anyway...

as for the demo itself, I haven't been too keen on spore from what I've seen and heard (well, what I'm trying to say is I don't have the automatic BEST GAME EVAR drool you see a lot), but I think a demo like this is a good way to try the core parts of the game out and see if it's your kinda thing or not...I'll give it a try later tonight/tomorrow...
