Confirmed through gamekyo and Google Translation, yes it's true... the Xbox 360 hit Dead Rising is making its way to the Wii.

Incredible news, but still wasn't what Dead Rising fans were looking for outta Capcom. Maybe a sequel is still in the works?

If they combine it with that new wiimote attachment life could be very good.

My brother asked me the other day: "You know what game we haven't finished yet?" And I went off listing too many games, we kinda got shocked at how many games we didn't finish, but anyways... he says "Nooo, it was that game that you drive the car through a bunch of zombies and the mall thing and all..."

Yeah, this has potential of epic zombie killing ftw.
